The environmental scientific team of the University of Basra organized a questionnaire for the organizational block project on the Shatt Al-Arab stream. The preliminary results of the questionnaire, which received a great scientific interaction from specialists, showed that more than 93% of the respondents were in favor of establishing the dam for scientific reasons and realistic proposals. This percentage corresponds to 7% of the participants who oppose the construction of the dam, and their opinions are scientific and appreciated.
