The two teachers from the Department of Animal Production in the College of Agriculture at University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Rabia Jadoua Abbas and teacher Dr. Salah Mahdi Mohsen, participated in a scientific workshop held in the Basra Agriculture Directorate. The participation included giving two lectures, the first entitled modern technologies in the poultry industry and the second was entitled a technical and economic study in raising Chinese geese. The first lecture dealt with the entry of modern technologies into the poultry industry such as robots and artificial intelligence. The second lecture showed the economic feasibility of establishing Chinese geese breeding projects, as well as information about the breeding and management of this bird in Iraq.
