Agriculture College - University of Basra organized a seminar on supplementary irrigation and its role in increasing the productivity of wheat crops in rain-fed regions in The College of Agriculture of the University of Basra organized a seminar on supplementary irrigation and its role in increasing the productivity of wheat crops in rainfed regions in the hall of Field Crop Department.

The seminar presented by researcher Miqdad Faleh Abdel-Hassan aimed to identify the concept of supplemental irrigation and its importance in increasing the productivity of wheat crops in areas that depend on rainfall.

The seminar included an overview of the rainy crops that rely on rainfall and the concept of supplemental irrigation as well as its fundamental aspects.

The seminar recommended that the supplementary irrigation method contributes to providing an atmosphere for the natural growth of the crops and the significant relationship between supplementary irrigation and the seasonal distribution of rain and the rate of wheat productivity.
