Rehabilitation and operation of the dairy products manufacturing plant at the University of Basrah

With the support of the Honorable President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the dairy products manufacturing plant affiliated with the Food Research and Consumer Protection Unit in the College of Agriculture has been rehabilitated and operated, which includes yogurt and cheeses subject to laboratory tests in accordance with Iraqi standard specifications. The current production capacity is 120 kg, and God willing, it will be possible. Expanding it to 3 tons per day once the large tanks are connected. The product is released in the private marketing outlets in the College of Agriculture, including the Bab Al-Zubair outlet, the marketing center, and the rest of the university’s outlets serve the people of Basrah.
