College of Agriculture participates in the central graduation ceremony for students at the University of Basrah

 College of Agriculture, represented by its Dean, Prof. M.D., participated. Raghdan Hashem Mohsen and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Jabbar Mohsen and the heads of departments, a large gathering of college professors at the central ceremony for the graduation of students at the University of Basra, which was held in the Palm Trunk Stadium.

The name “Al-Aqsa Flood Batch” was given to this year’s batch of graduates, and this comes in celebration of the heroics performed by the heroes of the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist entity that usurped the occupied territories. Students of the College of Agriculture participated in the ceremony on the occasion of the successful completion of their university studies. The ceremony was attended by the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi and members of the University Council.

The graduation ceremony took place in the presence of a large number of students, families and friends who came to celebrate the success of the graduates. Certificates were distributed to the graduates and they were honored for their distinguished scholastic and academic efforts throughout their studies.

During the ceremony, many speeches were delivered, beginning with a speech by the President of Basra University, in which he praised the graduates’ achievements and their courage in facing challenges. He also spoke about the academic programs and opportunities that await graduates in the labor market.

This occasion is an opportunity to welcome new graduates to the community of graduates and specialists in various fields, especially the agricultural field. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the collective efforts made by professors and staff at the University of Basra and the College of Agriculture to provide an inspiring and encouraging learning environment.

The Dean of the College also congratulated the students of the College of Agriculture on their graduation, and wished them a bright and successful future in their professional lives.
