College of Agriculture holds a workshop for a visiting professor from the University of Tehran on agricultural applications of artificial intelligence

Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Raghdan Al-Shara, and the supervision of the Head of the Machinery Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Ajer Bandar, a workshop was conducted entitled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Agricultural Fields,” in which the visiting professor, Dr. Hamid Abdel Malki, lectured. Specialized in mechatron from the University of Tehran. The workshop aimed to learn about modern technologies used in agricultural fields, the most important of which are applications of artificial intelligence and robotics, which contribute significantly to the development of agricultural mechanization, increasing production and reducing economic costs.
