College of Agriculture at Basrah University holds its agricultural exhibition on the occasion of University Day

To celebrate University Day, the College of Agriculture / University of Basra held its annual agricultural exhibition. The exhibition was opened by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, in the presence of the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Haider Khazal Mahbas, the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Raghdan Hashem Mohsen, the Head of the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers, the Head of Academics, and a group of professors. The most important field crops grown in the governorate, the types of seeds and methods of preserving them, the most important devices used in agricultural mechanization, manufactured organic and mineral fertilizers, and the scientific activities of the teachers in the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources, as well as the products of the agricultural station affiliated with the college. The most important patents in the various scientific departments were presented and the most important Authored books. Many companies specialized in the food industry, molasses presses, natural molasses presses, and nurseries also participated in displaying their products and displaying students’ products, including foodstuffs, decorations, and accessories derived from agricultural products.
