The effect of cultivation dates, soil covering and foliar spray with calcium in the growth and yield of okra plant Abelmoschus esculentus L. that is cultivated in the greenhouse

PhD student, Kazem Salem Laibi defend his dissertation titled “The effect of cultivation dates, soil covering and foliar spray with calcium in the growth and yield of okra plant  Abelmoschus esculentus L. that is cultivated in the greenhouse. The study included three factors, three cultivation dates (Dec15th, Dec31th, and Jan15th), soil covering with black polyethylene plastic, as well as three concentrations of foliar spray with calcium (0.5, 1, 1.5) ml/L. The study investigated the impact of the three factors on vegetative growth, chemical characteristics of leaves, flowering indicators as well as qualitative and quantitate yield of okra plant.
