The Department of Soil Science and Water Resources at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, welcomed its new students admitted for the 2025-2026 academic year in a welcoming ceremony.

The reception was held under the direct guidance of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed, and in the presence of several faculty members from the department.

The meeting aimed to introduce the new students to the new educational environment, and the department's future prospects and scientific outputs were explained.
