It aimed to teach the trainees on remote sensing technologies and geographic information systems in identifying areas exposed to pollution or environmental degradation, with identifying the best spectral evidence for that. Training was also carried out on how to deal with geographic information systems in providing satellite image and making the necessary corrections and matching them
