Master's thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra (The effect of spraying boron and nanocalcium oxide and their interactions on the productive, physiological and quality characteristics of date palm fruits Phoenix dactylifera L. Al-Sayer variety)
The letter included the researcher (Zahra Yahya Kazem Sobeih)
Nine factor treatments are the compatibility between boron in three concentrations and nanocalcium oxide in three concentrations. The treatment exceeded 300 mg / liter of boron by recording the highest physical characteristics of fruits, as it gave the highest average of fruit weight, fleshy layer, size, length and diameter of the fruit for the khalal and wet phases. It also recorded the highest rate of chemical characteristics for fruits and leaves  Date palm, with a significant difference from the other treatments under study, gave the highest percentage of total soluble solids and the lowest water content of fruits in the khalal and wet phases. The same treatment also gave the highest concentration of chlorophyll in the leaves and the highest amount of total soluble carbohydrates.
