Dr. Wissam Bashir, the teacher of the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources, participated in the ceremony of the distribution of certificates of participation in the training course/part 1, which was conducted virtualy in cooperation with  Universities of WAGENingen ,  IHE delft University  and six Iraqi universities, including the University of Basrah, and support of NUffic organization 
The ceremony was held at the campus of the University of Karbala in the presence of  Dutch Consulatance  in Iraq and the coordinator of the project residing in The Netherlands and assistant presidents of Karbala University administrative and scientific and deans of the Faculty of Agriculture in Karbala and Kufa and a number of participants in the training .
the training courses included several topics under the title of improving the efficiency of water management and smart climate applications (capacity building and cognitive development) and received the participating teachers certificates for a number of professors participating in different courses within the training program, including Dr. Hussam Hassan And. Yahya Jihad and Dr. Muhsen Abdulhay
