The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a field trip to Al-Fares Agricultural Company for first- and fourth-year students, accompanied by a group of faculty members. The students learned about farming methods, irrigation techniques, and the fertilizers used and suitable for all crops grown on the company's site. They also visited the company's exhibition showcasing irrigation equipment, pipes, and agricultural machinery. At the end of the trip, they visited the nursery specializing in shade plants and ornamental plants, learning about propagation methods.

This visit is part of the college's ongoing commitment to supporting practical and field activities, which contribute to developing the skills of agricultural engineers and preparing them for the job market.
