The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a training course for postgraduate students entitled "Laboratory Techniques and the Importance of Equipment in Scientific Research."

The course included a lecture by Dr. Waleed Yousef Qasim, who explained one of the most important instruments used in postgraduate research: the ELISA analyzer. He highlighted the key tests it offers and its role in sample analysis.

Dr. Huda Falih Saad also delivered a lecture on modern techniques and advanced equipment used in poultry houses. She introduced key laboratory instruments and their operation, explaining the role of advanced technology and artificial intelligence in supporting scientific experiments and research.

The course concluded with a practical session where students were trained on operating several laboratory instruments, preparing samples, and understanding the kits used in blood tests.
