The Aquaculture Unit at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, has been conducting intensive monitoring of the research activities of faculty members and researchers within the aquaponics unit.

This monitoring aims to ensure the efficient implementation of experiments related to integrating fish farming with plant cultivation. This is achieved through evaluating the operational system's efficiency, equipment maintenance, and water quality testing.

The research team emphasized that this step supports the college's plan to enhance scientific performance and promote the application of modern aquaponics, thus contributing to sustainability and developing outputs that benefit the agricultural sector.
