The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar on "The Effect of Nitrogen Fertilizer Level and Method of Application on Okra Growth and Yield under Surface and Subsurface Drip Irrigation Systems."

The seminar, presented by researcher Karam Jaafar Sadiq, aimed to demonstrate the effect of adding urea at different levels and using different methods, identify the optimal treatments for best crop yield and quality, and improve nitrogen and irrigation water efficiency.

The study included an explanation of the best methods for applying fertilizers and their direct impact on increasing production and improving crop quality.
