With the participation of all departments... The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra begins conducting practical exams for the second semester according to the system of observations and applied tests.

Final practical exams for undergraduate students (second, third, and fourth year) began today in the laboratories of the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra for the second semester of the current academic year, across all scientific departments within the college.

The exams were conducted using an observation and applied testing system, designed to assess the practical skills students have acquired during the semester.

The exams encompassed laboratory and field components in the college's fields, including sample examination and the diagnosis of agricultural and scientific phenomena, ensuring the development of graduates proficient in their professional skills.

The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, and his assistants conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of the exams in the various departments, reviewing the nature of the questions and their alignment with the scientific material, as well as ensuring a conducive environment for students to take their exams smoothly. The Dean of the College of Agriculture commended the efforts of the department heads, examination committees, and teaching and technical staff, emphasizing that "the practical exam is a cornerstone in shaping the agricultural engineer's character, as it connects theoretical knowledge with practical application."

We wish all our dear students success in their academic journey.
