The Dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra is monitoring the readiness of the laboratories in the Food Science and Plant Protection departments to meet accreditation requirements.

As part of the College of Agriculture's regular monitoring of its laboratories to ensure their safety, availability of materials, and readiness, the Dean, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, conducted a field visit to the laboratories of the Food Science and Plant Protection Departments.

During the visit, he reviewed the workflow within the laboratories, the adherence to safety and security standards, and the readiness of equipment and supplies, all in preparation for the accreditation committees.

The Dean emphasized the importance of creating a comprehensive laboratory environment that meets approved academic standards. He stressed the need to continue developing infrastructure and enhancing performance efficiency to contribute to raising the scientific and research standards of the college.

He also commended the teaching and technical staff for their efforts in organizing the laboratories and their commitment to providing the necessary resources for laboratory work, wishing them continued success in supporting the college's journey toward achieving academic accreditation.

This visit is part of a series of inspection tours aimed at ensuring the quality of education and enhancing the institutional readiness of the college's various departments.
