The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah hosted the students of the Al-Fajr Al-Jadeed Primary School with international standards on Thursday, 1/4/2024, as part of its scientific program in receiving scientific trips. The visit aimed to introduce the fifth-year students to the laboratory activities and activities that are conducted in the College of Agriculture as part of the school’s practical curriculum. They visited the central laboratory, the medicinal and aromatic plants laboratory, and the insect museum in the plant protection department, as well as the plant and animal field in the agricultural research and experiments station. Note that the number of students who participated in the scientific trip was 43 male and female students, in which they learned about the laboratory equipment present in the college and the college’s role in supporting the agricultural sector.
