In line with directives issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the direct guidance of the University of Basra's administration, the College of Agriculture announced its active participation in the comprehensive national campaign aimed at strengthening the university's leading role in community service and sustainable development.

The college's participation includes a range of field activities, such as tree-planting and rehabilitation campaigns to increase green spaces within the university campus.

The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, stated: "The College of Agriculture's participation embodies our commitment to national responsibility and our endeavor to transform the university campus into a sustainable educational environment that serves both students and the community."
