As part of its plan to promote social responsibility and instill the values ​​of human solidarity, the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, represented by a group of professors and students from the Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources, organized a humanitarian visit to the Specialized Children's Hospital in Basra Governorate.

The visit included tours of the hospital wards to check on the well-being of the hospitalized children. The academic and student delegation sought to provide moral and psychological support to the children and their families.

This initiative comes within the framework of the college's efforts to build bridges of communication with various segments of society and to contribute to bringing smiles to the faces of children and alleviating the burden of illness on their families.

At the end of the visit, the hospital administration and the patients' families expressed their deep appreciation for this kind gesture from the University of Basra, praising the vital role that educational institutions play in supporting the health sector and boosting the morale of patients.
