The President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Muhammad Al-Shawi, honored the members of the accreditation committees for the Departments of Food Science and Plant Protection by presenting them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their distinguished efforts and continuous work in fulfilling the requirements for academic accreditation.

During the ceremony, the University President emphasized the importance of the efforts exerted by the scientific and administrative committees in developing the academic environment and raising the scientific and administrative standards. He commended the committees' achievements, which contribute to enhancing the university's standing and achieving quality standards and academic accreditation.

The Dean of the College expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the university administration to the teaching staff and specialized committees, affirming the college's continued commitment to implementing its plans aimed at developing academic programs and fulfilling the requirements for institutional and program accreditation.

This recognition comes in appreciation of the efforts made by the committee members and their dedication to completing their assigned tasks, which contributes to serving the scientific and academic progress of the university.
